The agreement between you and Raydin. What your membership covers, what it costs, and exactly how rollover works.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 9/4/2026
These terms set out the agreement between you and Raydin when you take out a Raydin roadside membership. They explain what your membership covers, what it costs, how rollover works, and what happens if either of us wants to bring the agreement to an end.
Please read them before you join. We will also send you a copy by email when your membership starts, and you can come back to this page at any time. By taking out a Raydin membership you accept these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. Where anything here conflicts with those rights, your legal rights come first.
Raydin is a roadside membership provider operating in the United Kingdom.
You can reach us by email at info@joinraydin.com or by telephone on 07700 171252. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Raydin” mean the company named above, and “you” means the person named on the membership.
A Raydin membership covers the vehicle named on your membership for:
Your membership runs for twelve months from the start date shown in your confirmation email.
The detailed schedule of benefits — including any limit on the number of callouts in a year, the maximum recovery distance, and the geographic area covered — is set out in your membership confirmation and forms part of these terms.
Membership costs £200 per year, for one vehicle. The full amount is payable at the start of each membership year, and your membership does not begin until payment has been received.
We will tell you the price of your renewal before it is taken. If we change the price, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before your renewal date. If you do not accept the new price you may cancel before the renewal takes effect, and nothing further will be charged.
If a payment fails, we will let you know and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right. If the payment remains outstanding, your membership may be suspended until it is paid, and assistance may not be available while it is suspended.
Rollover is the part of your membership that carries unused value into your next membership year. It is the reason Raydin exists, so this clause sets it out in full.
If you complete a membership year without making a claim, 80% of your eligible membership value is applied as a credit against the cost of your next membership year.
Eligible membership value means the membership fee you actually paid for that year, excluding any tax, any discount or promotional credit, and any rollover credit that was itself applied to that year.
A claim means any occasion on which you request assistance under your membership and that assistance is provided. A request that you cancel before anyone is dispatched does not count as a claim. Contacting us with a question, or to change your details, is not a claim.
Rollover is applied where all of the following are true:
Rollover credit can only be used against the cost of a Raydin membership. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another person or to another vehicle’s membership.
Rollover credit does not accumulate indefinitely. The maximum credit that can be applied to any single membership year is 80% of one year’s membership fee, however many claim-free years you have had.
Any rollover credit is lost if you cancel your membership, if you do not renew, if there is a break in your cover, or if your membership ends for any other reason. Rollover credit is not refundable in any circumstances.
We will tell you the rollover credit applied to your membership in your renewal notice, and you can ask us for your current position at any time.
To take out a Raydin membership you must:
Your vehicle must be roadworthy and maintained in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations when your membership starts. Membership is not a substitute for maintaining your vehicle, and we may decline assistance where a fault is the direct result of a vehicle being knowingly left in an unroadworthy condition.
Your membership starts on the date shown in your confirmation email, once payment has been received.
Assistance is available from 24 hours after your membership starts. This waiting period exists so that memberships are taken out as cover against future breakdowns rather than as a way to pay for a breakdown that has already happened. The waiting period does not apply when you renew an existing membership without a break in cover.
You have 14 days from the day your membership starts to change your mind and cancel, without giving a reason. This is your statutory right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To cancel, simply tell us by email at info@joinraydin.com or by telephone on 07700 171252 before the 14 days are up.
If you have not asked for or received any assistance during that period, we will refund your membership fee in full within 14 days. If you asked us to start providing cover straight away and you have received assistance during the cancellation period, we may deduct a fair amount for the service already provided.
Your membership renews automatically each year, so that you are not left without cover by accident.
We will send you a renewal notice at least 21 days before your renewal date. It will set out the price for the coming year, any rollover credit being applied, and the date payment will be taken.
If you do not want to renew, tell us before the renewal date and nothing will be taken. Remember that not renewing means any rollover credit is lost.
You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Outside the 14-day period described in clause 8, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current membership year and no refund is due for the remainder of that year, because cover has been in place throughout.
We may cancel or refuse to renew your membership if you have seriously or repeatedly breached these terms, if you have given us information you know to be false, or if you behave abusively towards our staff or the people who attend to help you. Where we cancel, we will tell you why and refund any part of your fee that relates to cover you will no longer receive.
Call 07700 171252 and tell us where you are, what has happened, and whether the vehicle is in a safe place. Please have your membership details and vehicle registration to hand if you can.
You must be with the vehicle when help arrives, unless it is unsafe to wait, in which case tell us when you call.
We will always give priority to situations where somebody is in a dangerous position on the road. If you are on a motorway, get yourself to a place of safety first and call the emergency services if there is any immediate danger.
We arrange assistance through a network of recovery operators and garages. We choose them with care, but we are not responsible for repair work that you separately agree and pay for directly with a garage.
Your membership does not cover:
This list sits alongside any exclusions in your schedule of benefits.
We will provide your membership with reasonable care and skill.
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable at the time you took out your membership.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are not responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, or industrial action. Where such a delay occurs we will let you know and do what we reasonably can to reduce its effect.
We may change these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or improvements to the membership.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before that date without penalty. Minor changes that do not affect your rights, such as correcting a typing error, may be made without notice.
The version of these terms that applies to you is the one in force when your current membership year began.
If something has gone wrong, please tell us first — most problems are quickest to fix directly. Email info@joinraydin.com or call 07700 171252 and tell us what has happened and what you would like us to do about it.
We will acknowledge your complaint within [ 5 ] working days and give you a full response within [ 8 ] weeks.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute may be brought before the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
